Lenny Zaleski’s bio
Meet Lenny Zaleski, a student at the University of Dayton who’s not your average communication and political science enthusiast – he’s also on the fast track to earning his Master’s in Public Administration!
With about three years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and strategic communications, Lenny’s been the superhero behind initiatives for governments and non-profits, where he’s championed environmental and housing causes.
As a communications intern at the Montgomery County Auditor’s Office, he oversees social media strategies, marketing campaigns, and community outreach. But that’s not all; he also does freelance work as a social media specialist at Mission Brands Consulting, where he’s the mastermind behind their LinkedIn pages and social media strategies.
But there’s more – Lenny also audits the social media and documents data for his local library branch system in Dayton. Plus, he’s a proud IABC (Cincinnati chapter) member and the Director of Public Affairs for the Early Career and Student Shared Interest Group (SIG).
When he’s not busy with work or volunteering, this passionate community advocate and nature enthusiast can be found in a local park or frequenting an art museum with his friends. He also loves spending quality time with his Dayton crew and hometown folks in Chicago.
And did we mention that Lenny is a certified Star Wars fan? He’s ready to defend the galaxy at a moment’s notice with not one but two replica lightsabers in his collection, along with his trusty sidekick Finn, an adorable Aussie Shepherd!
As for his go-to favourite hot beverage? Lenny’s a fan of a cappuccino or latte with oat milk, a touch of vanilla, and a hint of lavender or raspberry.
