Felicia Empey’s bio

Felicia Empey is a passionate, strategic, and pragmatic Communications Professional with a diverse career ranging from external to internal communications across many sectors, including human resources (recruitment), financial insurance, non-profits, real estate, professional associations, small businesses, public relations firms and universities. She has a Master of Communications and Information Studies from Rutgers University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications from Seneca College and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History and English from the University of Toronto.

Outside of work, Felicia has served on the Board of IABC/Toronto for three terms, providing insights and tailored member experiences to attract and retain professionals. She is also on the Executive Board of Directors for BridgeWay Family Centre and Chair of the Strategic Planning & Fund Development Committee.

Felicia’s personal and professional ethos is to connect people to new ideas and insights to empower them to create positive change and build community cohesiveness. Essentially, “even the smallest person can change the course of the future.” – J.R.R. Tolkien
